My name is Eran Salamon. I am an Israeli tour guide who has specialized in in-depth Bible study tours for Christian groups since 2008, primarily from the United States and Singapore. I work with Protestant and Catholic churches and Messianic Jewish congregations. My groups come either directly through Bible Land Tours or through Signature Tours, the American tour operator I work with.
I grew up in Israel in an Orthodox Jewish Zionist educational environment. I began guiding at the age of twelve and have continued to guide in different settings throughout my life. I am an independent learner, devoting much of my life to studying the Bible, Jewish history, archaeology, and the geography of the Land of Israel. My teachers include leading Jewish and Christian scholars in Israel and around the world.
I personally guide every Bible Land Tours group. I update and refine the tour program each year to reflect new discoveries and changing conditions, and to introduce pilgrims to the most important biblical sites in the Holy Land. In my teaching, I aim to present the relevant background clearly and concisely, together with fresh and original insights.
